About Us
Chair Repair is run and owned by the former owner of The Furniture Doctor out of his home workshop in Joondanna. Shane has over 24 years of experience in the timber restoration, repairs and finishing industry. Shane sold his previous business to focus on his new career as a nurse. However, he is still repairing small timber items from his home workshop. As Chair Repair is a part-time business, he does not have the time to take on large tasks. Only a few small jobs a week. Any large jobs, urgent needs or restoration and upholstery work is best directed to The Furniture Doctor which is now run by his previous staff who were trained by himself and are more than capable of completing any required work.
